Jadon and his tractor

Today Jadon woke up bright and early to ride his new tractor that his mamaw got him for his birthday. It came with 2 rechargeable 12 volt batteries. He went through them both today. He rode from 8am till lunch and then went right back out to ride some more. He carries everything around in his wagon...sticks, rocks, barbies, John-Mark ect... This afternoon while he was out "farming" the rest of us were doing our inside chores. Ely went out to check on him and found him sound asleep on his tractor parked under a big oak tree. She quickly ran in got us all. When we saw him and after video and pictures were taken we just stood and watched him, no one wanting to ruin such a priceless moment. Thank you mamaw for the tractor, Jadon truly enjoys it.

Spring...Birthday time

Spring always means birthdays around our house. Annalee turned 7 May1st, Jadon was 3 yesterday, May 20th, and Mary-Grace will be 5 june 3rd. We decided this year to have a big party all together. We invited all the family which consists of 14 cousins and let the children add a few of their friends. I made the Annalee a "flower" cake, Mary-Grace had a butterfly cake and Jadon had a football (Roll Tide). I think everyone had a good time. It was just a simple party with the people we love.

My children are growing up so fast. I have such a desire to savor every moment and to show in my actions that I enjoy every moment of their childhood, but I am afraid that most of my actions show impatience. But they are still so cute and amaze me with their ideas and cute little ways. What a blessing my children are to me!! Happy Birthday my babies.

The Davis Family 2007

How neat is this. I feel like I am treading upon uncharted waters here with this blog thing, but I will give it a try. I just figured out how to e-mail pictures. This is a neat opportunity to be able to keep a journal for myself and to be able to share my family with all of you. To start out this blog let me say that the glorification of our Creator, Savior, and King is the foundation of my family and our heartbeat in all we do is to know Him and make Him known. But we do not always do the things that we want to do, right? I hope this sight helps us to be more transparent to all of you for our maturity and yours. Thanks for visiting.
